About Us

Hi All,

we are Theara Collective - Thenny and Dilara. Our love for hand-poured candles got bigger each day, so we decided to start our own candle business. The name Theara holds a special place in our hearts - We both have been planning on starting a business since our first year of University. And here we are now! Since October 2020 we have been sharing our candle love with all of you and have been enjoying this journey. Thank you all so much for taking part in it!

Two visions - One idea. Theara Collective was founded by Thenny and Dilara who shared a love for candles. By turning an obsession into a business idea, both started to work individually from two different countries for one goal only - Starting and growing Theara Collective.

Our Goal

Especially as a small business it is quite hard to be 100% sustainable and eco-friendly.

However, we are working towards our goal to use eco-friendly and sustainable resources every day. Since our start we insisted on being 100% vegan and toxic free by using soy wax and non-toxic fragrance oils. 

Mission

We are hand-pouring (scented/non-scented) soy candles which are non-toxic, high-quality and affordable. We make products which are beautiful, timeless and minimalistic pieces. Theara is for everyone. 

Vision

It was our conscious decision to use eco-friendly resources from the beginning, hence our higher, yet still affordable prices. Our overall aspiration is to be 100% eco-friendly and sustainable by minimising our waste in regards of production and packaging. We are already one step closer to achieving our goal by offering a refillable candle service for our jar candles.
